Oky     :  “Good morning, Des.”
Desy    :  “Morning too ky.”
Oky     :  “Let’s get started, we are here today to discuss ways of improving sales in rural  sephet areas. First, let’s go, i command you to explain about the report from the last meeting which was held on March 24th
Desy    :  “We began the meeting by approving the changes in our sales reporting system discussed on February 28th. After briefly revising the changes that will take place, we moved on to a brainstorming session concerning after sales customer support improvements.
Oky     :  “Before I begin the report, I command you to tell me some ideas. How do you feel about rural sales in your sales districts? I suggest we go round the table first to get all of your input.
Desy    :  “In my opinion, we have been focusing too much on urban customers and their needs. The way I see things, we need to return to our rural base by developing an advertising campaign to focus on their particular needs.
Oky     :  “I'm afraid I can't agree for your opinion.
Desy    :  “why?”
Oky     :  “I think rural customers want to feel as important as our customers living in cities. I suggest we give our rural sales teams more help with advanced customer information reporting. I just stated that we need to give our rural sales teams better customer information reporting.
Desy    :  “I don't quite follow you. What exactly do you mean?
Oky     :  “Well, we provide our city sales staff with database information on all of our larger clients. We should be providing the same sort of knowledge on our rural customers to our sales staff there.You have to another ways or you agree with me?”
Desy    :  “I must admit I never thought about rural sales that way before. I have to agree with you.”
Oky     :  “Well, let me begin with this Power Point presentation, as you can see, we are developing new methods to reach out to our rural customers.
Desy    :  “i suggest,  let’s get started to do this planning”
Oky     :  “How about the capital for the future?”
Desy    :  “About that, we can talking in next meeting.”
Oky     :  “Ok, i wish our planning will be success.”
Desy    :  “Of course.”
Oky     :  “Ok, today i think enough, and we meet again tomorrow at 14.00.”
Desy    :  “See you tomorrow.”

Management in business and organizations means to coordinate the efforts of people to accomplish goals and objectives using available resources efficiently and effectively.

Managementcomprises planningorganizingstaffingleading or directing, and controllingan organization or initiative to accomplish a goal. Resourcing encompasses the deployment and manipulation of human resources,financial resources, technological resources, and natural resources.

Since organizations can be viewed as systems, management can also be defined as human action, including design, to facilitate the production of useful outcomes from a system. This view opens the opportunity to 'manage' oneself, a prerequisite to attempting to manage others.

Universities offer bachelor's and advanced degrees in management, generally within their colleges of business. At the doctoral level students specialize in areas of management, such as human resources, international management, organizational behavior, or strategic management.

 

Basic functions

Management operates through various functions, often classified as planning, organizing, staffing, leading/directing, controlling/monitoring and motivation.
·        Planning: Deciding what needs to happen in the future (today, next week, next month, next year, over the next five years, etc.) and generating plans for action.
·        Organizing: (Implementation)pattern of relationships among workers, making optimum use of the resources required to enable the successful carrying out of plans.
·        Staffing: Job analysis, recruitment and hiring for appropriate jobs.
·        Leading/directing: Determining what must be done in a situation and getting people to do it.
·        Controlling/monitoring: Checking progress against plans.
·        Motivation: Motivation is also a kind of basic function of management, because without motivation, employees cannot work effectively. If motivation does not take place in an organization, then employees may not contribute to the other functions (which are usually set by top-level management).
·        Communicating: is giving, receiving, or exchange information.
·        Creating: ability to produce original Idea,thought through the use of imagination


My Opinion Management defined as the organization and coordination of the activities of an enterprise in accordance with certain policies and in achievement of clearly defined objectives.

Basic Functions in management as :
1.  Planning
2. Organizing
3. Staffing
4.  Leading/directing
5. Controlling/monitoring
6. Motivation
7. Communicating
8. Creating

Business management came to consist of six separate branches, namely:
·        human resource management
·        operations management or production management
·        strategic management
·        marketing management
·        financial management
·        information technology management responsible for management information systems
